Gaby Aghion, originally from Egypt, launched her first collection of luxury ready-to-wear in 1952 in Paris. Its modern and relaxed silhouettes contrast with the rigidity of Haute Couture at that time. The House became a great success with young women from the 60s. Gaby then built a team of talented stylists who followed him in his artistic direction. In the 70s, Karl Lagerfeld became the only designer of the brand and carried Chloé to an international rank. The greatest Art Directors have since succeeded, imposing their style and establishing Chloé’s accessories as essentials of our generation.
