Azzedine Alaïa, originally from Tunisia, has always been passionate about art and sculpture from an early age. He moved to Paris at a young age and worked for great designers such as Christian Dior, Guy Laroche and Thierry Mugler. He launched his eponymous brand in 1981 and attended the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. The fashion House Alaïa dresses for many years the biggest stars on the red carpet. The designer invented the concept of "body-consciousness" by making iconic pieces.
